This article describes the possibilities for creating forms that support multiple languages.
AM System supports multiple languages and comes with Swedish and English by default. You can also order additional languages if needed. This multilingual support allows you to create forms in multiple languages by translating all your field titles into the languages you intend to provide.
Translate titles and list options
To add a field title, select a field and then choose the “Field” tab.
Remember to add and translate all options in the field types: List, Checklist, and Alternative List.
In addition to translating all fields, you can:
- Deactivate languages you don’t intend to use in the current form.
- Review the form in each language. This only affects how the form appears during editing and is a good way to ensure you haven’t missed translating any fields.
- Set the default language for the form during public registration. Since the user isn’t logged into the system, it can’t retrieve the user’s profile settings, so it will display the predetermined default language instead.
💡 When a user interacts with a case in AM System, the system automatically detects the user’s preferred language through their associated profile.
