Manage languages in AM System

AM System comes standard with Swedish and English, and administrators can specify the default language and control which language users see when they log into the system.

Basic Settings

Default_language_engAM System is provided with Swedish and English as languages. (Refer to the information below for the option to request additional languages.) This enables all system menus and functions to be displayed in either Swedish or English.

As an administrator, you control which languages are available in the system via Administrator » Settings » Language. Use the checkboxes next to each language to activate or deactivate a language for your organization.

From this view, you also choose which of the active languages will be the system default. The default language determines which language is displayed on the login page. To set it, simply click on the desired language (for example, “swe” or “eng”). The selected default language is shown in black text in the list. This setting applies to all users, since the system cannot reliably identify individual users’ language preferences before they log in.

Which Language Do Users See when they login?

Profile_language_engEach user is associated with a specific profile, which can be managed through the Administrator » Profiles menu. Within this profile, administrators can set the language that the user will see when logging into the system.

For example, if the default language of the system is set to English, but the user has selected Swedish in their profile, they will see the login page in English. Once the user logs in, however, the interface will be displayed in Swedish.

Additional Languages

It is possible to activate additional languages beyond those already included. This option is available in certain pricing plans, but can also be added for an extra fee if it is not part of your current plan. By customizing the languages, you can tailor the system to meet your specific needs and user groups. Managing Documents in Multiple Languages

We recommend using bundlings to manage documents available in multiple languages. By grouping language versions within the same bundling, they share both document numbers and version control, making it easy to keep content consistent and up to date. To learn more, see the article What is a bundle and how is it used?
