This article explains how to use the Hide unselected options function for the field types Checklist, List, and Yes, No, N/A when reviewing a case.
When reviewing a case
When a user reviews a case, the system's default behavior is to display only the information in fields that the user has filled out. In other words, the system hides any options that have not been selected, showing only the field labels. This design aims to simplify the review process, making it easier to see the selected information and reducing the likelihood of errors.
However, this behavior can be modified using the Show non-selected options feature.
Show non-selected options
The behavior can be modified for the following field types:
- Checklist
- List
- Yes, No, N/A options
To enable the Show non-selected options feature, navigate to Case Management » Settings » Current Form. Select the relevant field in the current list to activate this option.
Note: When you enable this feature for any of the field types mentioned above, all options within the field will be displayed during the case review, regardless of whether any option has been selected or not.
💬 Below, you can see the difference in how the fields are displayed during a case review.
