Connect values to in Case Management

The purpose of the "Connect values to" feature is to manage the availability of choices based on selections made in a previous list.

The purpose of the "Link Options to" feature is to manage the availability of choices based on selections made in a previous list.

  • Begin by creating two lists containing the desired options.
  • Select one of the lists and utilize the Connect values to feature to choose the second list.
  • Review each option in the first list individually and link them to corresponding choices in the second list using the link icon located above the box with all created options. To do this, select the first option, click on the link icon, and choose one or more matching options from the second list. Repeat this process for the remaining options. 

Tips: Use Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) to select multiple individual options at once.

Here is an example of what the registration process may look like.

Please note

  • The lists that can be linked using this feature are the List and Person List fields.
  • However, Connect values to cannot be used if either of the lists is placed within a repeating field.
