How to Grant Access to Statistics in Cases

This article explains the settings required to allow users to view an overview of all cases and the different ways it can be presented.

The system currently provides a straightforward statistics feature accessible from the main menu under Case Management » Statistics. statistics

This feature is limited in customization; however, you can adjust the time period (1) displayed by using the controls in the upper right corner of the window.


In addition to adjusting the time period for an overall overview, you can also select the View More (2) link to access statistics for a specific form (3) and if desired, print the results (4).

💡 Tip: If you are looking for more detailed statistics, consider using the Presented in Graphs feature, which is available for all search results. From the search results, you can also create exports to work with the information in tools like Excel.

❗Essential for a user to access the Statistics menu option is that their profile in the specific form must have the setting All registered cases enabled under the View permission. This setting can be found under Administrator » Profiles » Selected Profile » Cases » Selected Case » View. This setting is also enabled here.

The rationale behind this requirement is that the statistics are only meaningful if the user can view all cases from the form. If a user can only see a subset of the cases, the statistics may not be entirely reliable.
