Create Charts from Search Results

In AM, there is a simple chart function that quickly presents selected data using bar charts or line charts.

Preparation

Before creating a diagram with the desired content, you must enable the fields from which you want to display data in the form using the Presented in graphs function. Simply select the relevant fields in the form and activate this function, which can be found under the Properties section.

Search Results via Query Builder

Once you have enabled the Presented in graphs feature for your selected fields, you can perform a search in the Query Builder from the current form. The results of your search will provide a dataset that can subsequently be displayed using the diagram function.

In other words, if you execute a query that retrieves all cases in the current form, the diagram function will display all of those cases.

However, if you refine your search to focus on cases created this year with a status of Completed, the diagram function will be based solely on this filtered dataset.

From the search results menu, select the Create chart function, where you can choose the data that the selected diagram will be based on. The available data options will include the fields you previously enabled for graph presentation within the form.

In the video below, we demonstrate a straightforward search for all registered cases within the form, showcasing several examples of how the diagrams can appear. Additionally, the page includes a print function that can be managed through your web browser (the video demonstrates this feature using Chrome).
