Why isn’t it possible to open cases, documents, or search results in a separate tab or new browser window

The system is designed to support one active user session at a time, which means login credentials and activity information are stored in your browser. Attempting to work in multiple tabs or windows simultaneously may result in session conflicts that could cause data to mix or unexpected errors to occur.

Currently, the system does not support working in several open views in parallel. We are aware of the demand for opening, for example, a case, document, or search result in a new tab or window. This improvement suggestion is already registered, but implementing this functionality would require significant changes to the system’s architecture and is not yet scheduled for development.

Alternative Working Methods

If you need to access two views at the same time, consider the following options:

  • Use two different browsers (e.g., Chrome and Edge) – each browser will maintain a separate login session.

  • Use your browser’s incognito or private mode – the session in incognito/private windows is kept separate from your main browsing session.

Please note that working on the same document or case in two browser windows at once may lead to data saving issues and should be avoided.
