Share your search queries with colleagues to collaborate efficiently on your information
Administrators or users with access to Query Builder have the ability to create their own search queries, which they can later share with colleagues. Other users can click on saved queries that have been shared with them or those that are included in a document.
Sharing a created search query
This article explains how to share saved search queries in the Cases module for effective collaboration with colleagues.
If you want to learn how to create and save search queries in Query Builder you can read an article about it here.
Share a Search Query with Others
In this short film (swe), we will demonstrate how to Share an already saved search query within the "Supplier Complaint" form, as well as how to remove a sharing setting you have previously established.
A search query can be shared with specific users who have access to the form and/or with groups that have been created within the form.
- The system displays a sharing icon on the search query as soon as it has been shared.
- Users can share search queries with others, even if the recipient does not have access to Query Builder.
- A shared search query will display results based on the recipient's access permissions.
- Only the creator of a shared query can manage, edit, or delete it. If you wish to create a search query and share it as a template while allowing the recipient to manage and edit it, you can export your query and allow the recipient to import it.
- A search query shared through Query Builder will remain accessible to the recipient as long as the creator (including the creator's login credentials) remains in the AM system or until the creator actively removes the sharing or deletes the query.
