This article describes how users can view and delete previously saved logins.
Introduction
By using the Keep Me Logged In feature on the login page, users can opt to remain logged into the system even when they are not actively using it for an extended period. Staying logged in means that the user will not need to re-enter their credentials on their next visit to the system from the same browser, provided they have not actively chosen to log out. |
Note:
- To utilize the Keep me logged in feature, it must be enabled in the system. This can be done by an administrator by navigating to Administrator » Settings » Password/Security » Allow "Keep Me Logged In".
- The Keep me logged in feature is not the same as the login session that a user always receives upon logging into the system. This session keeps the user logged in as long as the user are active and does not log out of the system. In case of inactivity, the user is automatically logged out after about 15 minutes when Keep me logged in is not activated.
- The Keep me logged in feature is not used for users logging in with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
The system has a limitation that only allows a user to use the "Keep Me Logged In" setting on up to three (3) different browsers at the same time. If a user reaches this maximum limit and attempts to activate the feature on an additional browser, the system will notify them of this restriction. The user must then delete a previously saved login before a new one can be saved. |

How to manage the function
By using the Keep me logged in feature, users will remain logged in even if they do not use the system for an extended period. If users choose to keep themselves logged in, they will not need to enter their credentials again the next time they visit the system from the same browser, unless they actively choose to log out.
Each individual user can view and manage saved logins by following these steps:
- Click on their name in the menu.
- Click on My settings
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Then click on Manage keep me logged in.
Note that this option will only appear if the Keep me logged in feature is activated in your system or if the user has saved logins.
The list of saved logins contains information about:
Web Browser
Displays which browser and operating system have saved the login for the user.
Last used
Shows information about when the user last automatically logged in with the specific browser without entering a username and password.
Used
This column displays how many times the user has automatically logged in with the specific browser.
Current
If the user is viewing the list of saved logins from a browser that has a saved login, this will be indicated with a check mark in the column.
Delete a Saved Login
At the end of the list of saved logins, there is an option to delete a saved login. If the user chooses to remove the saved login, they will need to log in again with a username and password the next time the same browser is used.
