How to link the user to the My Cases or My Documents section

Here, we describe a function that allows you to create links that direct the user to My Cases or My Documents.

Note: This feature can be utilized in both text and layout documents.

Create a link in your document by selecting either My Cases or My Documents. You now have two options: you can create a link that directs users to their Most Recently Visited tab, or you can choose to specify which tab the user will land on by selecting Specific.

My Cases
my cases

  1. The Last visited option directs the user to the tab they accessed last.
  2. By choosing the Specific option, you can select from the following tabs:
    1. My pending
    2. My favourites
    3. Last modified
    4. Last registered

My documentsmy documents

  1. Similarly to My Cases, the Last visited option links the user to the tab they accessed most recently.
  2. By selecting the Specific option, you can choose from the following tabs:
    1. To do
    2. Published
    3. My favourites
    4. My created

Tips: We recommend prioritizing the Specific option, as it ensures you know exactly where users will land. By selecting Specific:

  • You gain complete control over the user experience, making it easier for users to find the right information quickly.
  • For instance, you can guide users to their My pending or To do tabs if they need to continue working on ongoing cases or documentation.
  • Alternatively, if you want to showcase their favorite documents or cases, you can select My favourites as the tab. This way, you can tailor the link to meet the users' needs and preferences.
