Why do I get the error message “All required fields must be filled” even though I have filled in all fields?

When a user saves a case, the system checks whether all fields contain valid data and whether all mandatory fields are completed. If any field does not meet these requirements, the error message “All mandatory fields must be filled in”will appear. At the same time, the affected field will be marked with a white cross inside a red circle.

There are two common reasons why this error message may appear even though all fields seem to be completed:

  1. The white cross in the red circle

When a field is not correctly completed, a warning in the form of a white cross inside a red circle is shown. This icon is always placed to the left of the field in question. In some cases, it may appear so far to the left that it seems to belong to the adjacent field, making it difficult to see which field is actually causing the error.

  2. Invalid characters in fields

Certain field types, such as number fields, only allow specific characters. If data is pasted into such a field, invalid characters (such as spaces or letters) may be included. In this case, the field looks complete, but the system will not accept it. A simple solution is to delete the content and enter the value manually.
