Why do attachments sometimes get stuck during upload in a Document and not follow along when the Document is saved? Are there any limitations on the number or size of attachments?
There is no fixed limit to the number of attachments that can be added to a document. However, the system does not accept files larger than 1 GB. For best performance and stable handling, we recommend keeping individual files under 100 MB. Larger files may affect system performance or increase the risk of upload interruptions. For best results, we recommend splitting large documents into several smaller files or, if possible, using compressed file formats.
If an attachment fails to upload (for example, remains at 0% or 100% without reaching “uploaded” status), this may be due to the file’s size or the contents triggering the system’s security measures. File names or content resembling code or system commands can prompt a security block, preventing upload to safeguard the system.
Note:
If a file fails to upload (e.g., gets stuck at 100% without achieving the Uploaded status), it may block subsequent files from uploading. Therefore, it's crucial to save the draft and choose to edit the document again before attempting to upload more files.
To troubleshoot, try uploading the same file to a different Document or to a new draft. If the issue persists, it’s likely that the file contains something that the system does not accept. If needed, please contact support for further assistance.
