In cases where registering the same information is a recurring task, the copy case function can streamline the process
To enable the copying feature, activate it in the form under Advanced » Case Copying. You will then select which fields should be included in the copy. During the copying process, the new case will be assigned a unique case number.
Fields that are not selected for inclusion in the copy will be left blank in the new case, allowing for the entry of new information.
Please note: This feature cannot be used across different case forms.
Summary
The feature is designed to simplify the process of reusing information from an existing case. When a new case is created from the form, the fields you have chosen to include will automatically populate with data from the original case.
